Aroma of blackberries. Flavor of Slight licorice and acidity at the beginning, but vanilla came up as it opened up. I enjoyed the wine more on the second day. I guess this could wait a couple of more years to drink.

2004 Vintage scored 91 and got Editor's Choice in Wine Enthusiast.

According to their website, "Shingleback is a family-owned wine estate handcrafting rich, fruit-forward Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Rosé and Grenache from South Australia’s premier growing region, the McLaren Vale. ...
