Flavor of dark cheery and black licorice. Not much earthiness.
I'm not a big fun of Zinfandel, but I really think this Rosemblum's wine is good for its value. Plus, I usually don't find the peculiar spiciness and tar of zinfandel in this wine. Very stable quality.
I highly recommend to those who usually don't drink zin but want to try it to have different taste of wine.
